What Makes a Strength Program Truly Personal?

A personal strength program is more than a generic workout with your name at the top. It reflects your goals, experience, movement options, injury history, schedule and response to training—and it changes as those factors change.
PERSONALIZATION STARTS WITH THE OBJECTIVE
Two members may use the same exercise for different reasons, or different exercises for the same reason. The coach identifies the quality to develop, then chooses the movement that fits the person.

THE VARIABLES THAT MATTER
Exercise selection, range of motion, tempo, load, repetitions, volume, rest and frequency can all be individualized. Changing everything every week is not personalization; it often prevents learning.
COACHING COMPLETES THE PROGRAM
Even a well-written plan can fail without observation. Coaches watch execution, ask about symptoms and recovery, and decide whether the day calls for progression, practice or adjustment.
Keep useful movements long enough to improve.
Change variables for a clear reason.
Track what matters.
Use the simplest plan that solves the problem.
At Leverage, members follow individual programs inside a coached semi-private environment. That is how we combine personalization with community.
