Josie moved to Philadelphia from Bluffton, South Carolina where she was born and raised. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and a minor in Psychology. While attending Florida State she had a successful collegiate athletic career as a member of the swimming and diving team. Channeling her athletic background after graduation, Josie earned her personal training and nutrition certifications through ACE Fitness. Josie continues to feed her passion for swimming with her employment at Fitness Alive Swim Academy where she is a swim instructor. She loves helping people achieve fitness goals through proper exercise execution and healthy lifestyle changes. She is very excited to be in Philly and working as a member of the Leverage team!
